White paper lunch bags are something that you don’t see every day. More often than not, you would see brown or light cream colored bags than the white one. One reason why there rent a lot of white paper lunch bags is that most resto owners don’t like to advertise that their customers prefer to doggie bag their food than eat it in their resto. If you would notice, all take outs are packed in the brown paper bag or the doggie bag.

White paper lunch bags draw attention to themselves. These white bags really call out to anyone in the vicinity that they want to be noticed. In some places the color white isn’t that preferred. In Places like New York city the color black is a classic since it blends with the urban landscape and when it gets chilly, black draws in more heat than white. White automatically reflects heat away.

The construction of the white paper lunch bags are more studier and more robust than its older brother. Most white bags now are designed that they can stand upright and not break when the cargo they carry get wet or are soaked. The traditional brown bag would tear at a moments notice but  not the white ones.

Another place where white paper lunch bags can be found are in fairs and amusement parks. In tune with the atmosphere, the white bags fit perfectly. The future of the white paper lunch bags is not keen on the future in the sense that it can be used everyday. That has been left to its brother, the brown paper bag. Perhaps the only legacy that can be passed on to this generation is that the white paper lunch bag can be used for formal or special occasions. These occasions are not limited to birthdays, anniversaries, debuts, confirmations of faith and others.

On a somber tome, some of these white bags are also seen in funeral homes and at funerals. Although black is the proper color that should be observed, one can hardly find a black bag at funerals but white and brown ones can be present. Some see the white as a color that can signify freedom from the material world or freedom from human suffering.

It is interesting to note that most of the world has used the brown paper lunch bag all the time and under many occasions. But then a white one is used suddenly the social world gets involved and other take heed of it. It makes you wonder why the color white has this effect.
